What WORDS Are You listening To The Most?

By The Power Of Your Words

What words are you feeding on, whether it is words of insecurity like “I can’t do that” or “I am stupid” or “nobody likes me” or all those negative words that have been spoken over you in the past by other people.
Whatever you think on or mediate on the most will be the biggest on the inside it you. Meaning out of the heart the mouth speaks and what we speak is what becomes reality.
Paul Quotes David when say this 2 Corinthians 4:13 “It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak…” (Referring to Psalm 116:10)
So what do you believe about yourself? How are you speak about yourself? Do you SPEAK about your relationships, health, ability, finances, in a positive or negative way?
Finances Example would be
  1. “I have no money right now or I am broke” -negative
  2. “Not right now thanks” -positive
  3. Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].
 Health Example would be
  1. jokingly “I can’t remember, I must have Alzheimer”  -negative
  2. “my disease(cancer, diabetes… ) “Question is it yours? -negative
  3. Proverbs 12:18 (NKJV) There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health. -positive
  4. Isaiah 53:5 (NKJV) But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. -positive
Relationships Example would be
  1. “I have never got along with my brother. He always does ….”-negative
  2. “I love my brother, I forgive my brother and I will work on loving him no matter what the circumstance.”-positive
Your Abilities Example would be
  1. “I can’t do that I am not smart enough….”-negative
  2. “I can do all things through Christ who strengths me.”-positive
  3. Philippians 4:13 (AMP) I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Are you speaking what you want to see(the end in minded) or what you fear and see now in your circumstance?

In this 6 1/2 minute video Terri talk about the Power Of Your Words . I encourage you to take some time a listen.
